Well, surgery day came and is behind us now with Doctor Demers saying, "It was a GOOD day." That's all I needed to hear. Yes, God's promises are new every day. He was with me during my 2 hours of surgery that included lumpectomy with margins, port placement and removal of 4 lymph nodes ( 3 of which he thought looked good). So pathology will check them out and we will meet with surgeon on Wed. 3/3. Our prayer warriors have been mighty through the past 1 1/2 months of peaks and valleys. Thank you for standing by our side all the way. Your encouragement and lifting up gave us much peace and strength. Will see oncologist 3/4 (Grandma's 94th birthday) to plot my chemo schedule.
We pray that all of your lives are going well and we are so thankful for your emails, notes, cards, calls and visits to keep in touch. Friends are a true treasure.
