After spending time watching Tyler in his soccer tournament, taking in a movie, enjoying a lunch with Gary's cousin, Lee, and wife, Marlene, immersing in Beth Moore's Believing God Bible study, and being in touch with so many family and friends...we now have our go ahead for surgery on Thursday, Feb. 25. So our 1 1/2 month wait is almost over. One week from today we will be looking ahead to setting up chemo treatments. We have truly felt Him holding our hand and giving us peace the whole way...just like He promises. His love for each of us is endless. You have been mighty prayer warriors on our behalf and we are humbled and grateful. Other special friends with medical issues to remember as well are Marybeth, Gretchen, Rosemary, Mark F, Mark M, Larry, Christa and Sylvia. As we begin our Lenten journey remembering our Savior's death on the cross for our sins our prayer is that God would "create a clean heart within us." All glory be to God .
