Family at "The Cabin" over ThanksgivingJanuary 21, 2009
Set up preop appointment today for Jan. 23- week before surgery. Daughter, Julie, would like to set up a blog in case you are interested in following progress. We are blessed with such a loving family. Our daughters, sons-in-laws and grandkids are each very special treasures in our lives. We have built many wonderful memories through the years- and most recently over Thanksgiving and Christmas - at our new cabin in Blue Ridge, GA. What a joy to see everyone interact together in such caring ways.
A humungeous fort was constructed by most of them--what a feat that was.
We ate and ate and talked and talked. We prayed together and blessed our new cabin for the special gatherings that will take place there in the
future. John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give you; love one another.
Ohhhh...your cabin and the sweet fellowship of all your family there is beautiful. What a blessing of God! "Children are a gift from the Lord, they are a reward from him. Children born to a young man are like arrows in a warrior's hands. How joyful is the man whose quiver is full of them! Ps. 127: 3-5 You have such a beautiful family.
