Getting ready for 3rd chemo treatment on 5/3. Have experienced God's faithfulness to me in so many ways as I look back to January when my cancer journey began. I have experienced daily peace; physical strength and energy; love, prayers and encouragement from my loving husband, our kids, grandkids, extended family, church families in Casselberry and Blairsville, Bible study partners, hairdressers who assisted with shaving my head and styling my wigs, FBI and Audubon Park families, high school and college pals, neighbors, doctors and nurses, facebook and email buddies and the list goes on.... I am so blessed. Gary and I enjoyed our 9 days in the mountains taking in the beauty of His creation all around us. We are so proud of our 1st grandchild, Kara, who graduates May 8 from Belhaven college and Tyler who will move on to Winter Springs High School next year, and Lauren who graduates from pre school. Lots of baseball and soccer for Dorsetts; Tyler is into his State Cup tournaments and Terri had a roll with 3 three point baskets on Sat. Kevin and Kristin are in finals week and last days at school.
So much exciting times with 12 grandkids. We love it. As I close, I'm reminded of the great hymn: Great is Thy faithfulness, Great is Thy faithfulness, Morning by morning new mercies I see; All I have needed Thy hand hath provided-Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord unto me. Blessings on your days ahead and thank you for being so special in my life.

  1. This is such a precious picture of the faithfulness of God and so beautifully penned to glorify God. I love following your blog and am encouraged. God is a good GOD and surrounds us with his encouragement and love in these days in this journey. TO GOD be he GLORY! I just complete 5/6 chemos- the last one in less than 3 weeks. Thank you JESUS!
    Love you Carol Lynn.
